Talavera Ceramics is pleased to welcome celebrated artisan Jesus Sosa, master carver of wooden “alebrijes” from Oaxaca, Mexico who will demonstrate his craft on
Saturday, December 2nd, 12 pm to 4 pm
at 1801 University Avenue in Berkeley

Children are especially welcome!
Master carver Jesus Sosa will create his whimsical Oaxacan "Alebrijes," using a machete and small tools, fashioning delightful & fantastic creatures. Cats and Dogs are particularly popular. Honored by the Mexican government, Jesus's carvings appear in museums and galleries around the world.
